The Graveyard Don’t Lie: A Conversation on Police Violence

“They say everything they do is justified, I say it’s just a lie.” – Kim Handy-Jones

You’ve read the headlines about police violence. But for every lost life that makes the news, there are dozens who don’t. The Graveyard Don’t Lie is an opportunity to hear from and support families who have been directly affected by police violence.

On January 17, Ms. Kim Handy-Jones will talk with Toni Biegert, and Alicia Kirkman. All three are mothers who have lost a child to police violence. Listen to the stories of their children and the lives they lived; bear witness to the human cost of the United States’ policing system; and learn how you can show up in the movement for justice.

Proceeds benefit the Cordale Q. Handy In Remembrance of Me Foundation, providing headstones and financial assistance to families affected by police violence.
